Co-Founder & CEO
With over three decades of experience in financial services, Eric has worked across traditional banking, wealth technology, and fintech, specializing in operations, risk management, compliance, and financial crimes prevention. His career highlights include serving as a board-appointed Bank Secrecy Act Officer (BSAO) for four fintech companies, joining LendingClub as its seventh employee, co-founding AssetFort, and serving as BSA Officer at Oxygen and Slash. As a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), he developed deep expertise in anti-money laundering controls and served as a Department of Justice witness in a major fintech case.
He holds Bachelor's degrees in Communication and Economics from the University of California San Diego (UCSD) and a Global Executive MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Eric is an accomplished endurance athlete, competing in long-distance running and open-water marathon swimming. He is also the author of the fintech thriller Scurry (Fraud Squad).
